Hello! I hope everyone had a fantastic Easter. I know we did! We went to an amazing church service and then spent some time at my daddy's house eating and relaxing. While there, James and I undertook a small project that we have been looking forward to- cleaning and buffing our antique door hardware!
On Saturday, we took all of the door hardware off and carefully labeled everything to prepare to take it with us. My daddy has a really nice sander/buffer that we like to use on projects like this. So, we started by covering all the pieces in Brasso and letting them sit for about 30 minutes. Then, we wiped off all of the Brasso, applied another thin coat, and buffed out the dirt and old paint. Once we were back home, we put them all back on the doors. I cannot believe how great they look! They are so shiny and clean! Check it out:
